Player Wellbeing

Responsible Gaming
at a2jl

Gaming on a2jl should always be fun — a form of entertainment, not a source of stress or financial pressure. We take our duty of care seriously. This page outlines the tools, resources, and policies a2jl has in place to help every Filipino player stay in control and enjoy the experience safely.

21+ Only — Strictly Enforced on a2jl

a2jl Responsible Gaming Tools

a2jl gives every player a full set of tools to manage their gaming activity. These features are available directly from your account settings — no waiting, no complicated process. Your wellbeing is always the priority.

Deposit Limits

Set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on how much you can deposit into your a2jl account. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Lowering your limit takes effect immediately; increasing it requires a 24-hour cooling period.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel you need a break from gaming, a2jl's self-exclusion tool lets you temporarily or permanently block access to your account. Exclusion periods range from 30 days to permanent closure. Once activated, self-exclusion cannot be reversed until the full period has elapsed — no exceptions.

Session Time Reminders

Lose track of time? a2jl can send you an alert after you've been playing for a set duration — 30 minutes, 1 hour, or a custom interval you choose. It's a simple nudge to step back, take a breath, and decide if you want to continue.

Cooling-Off Periods

Need a short break without committing to full self-exclusion? A cooling-off period temporarily restricts your account for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During this time, you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. It's a lighter option for players who just need a reset.

Loss Limits

Set a maximum amount you're comfortable losing within a given period. Once your loss limit is reached, a2jl will automatically prevent further wagering until the period resets. This tool is especially useful for players who want to keep their gaming within a strict entertainment budget.

Reality Checks

a2jl can display a reality check pop-up at regular intervals showing how long you've been playing and your net win/loss for the session. This transparent snapshot helps you make informed decisions about whether to continue, take a break, or stop for the day.

Strictly 21+ Only

Under Philippine law and PAGCOR regulations, online casino gaming is restricted to individuals who are at least 21 years of age. a2jl enforces this requirement rigorously — not just as a legal obligation, but because we genuinely care about protecting young people from the potential harms of gambling.

Every new a2jl account goes through a mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. You will be required to submit a valid government-issued ID — such as a Philippine passport, SSS card, UMID, driver's license, or PhilSys national ID — before you can make your first deposit or withdrawal. Our verification team reviews submissions promptly so you can start playing without unnecessary delays.

Zero Tolerance for Underage Play

Any account found to belong to a person under 21 will be immediately suspended and all funds frozen pending investigation. a2jl cooperates fully with PAGCOR and Philippine law enforcement on underage gambling cases. If you suspect a minor is using the a2jl platform, please report it to us immediately at [email protected].

Parental Controls

If you share a device with family members, we strongly recommend enabling parental control software to prevent minors from accessing the a2jl platform. Tools like Google Family Link or built-in iOS/Android screen time controls can add an extra layer of protection at home.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can affect anyone — regardless of age, income, or background. The earlier it's recognised, the easier it is to address. a2jl encourages all players to be honest with themselves and watch out for these common warning signs:

Spending more money on gaming than you originally planned, or chasing losses by depositing more to try to win back what you've lost.

Gambling with money meant for essential expenses like rent, food, utilities, or your children's school fees.

Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when you're not able to play, or when you try to cut back on gaming.

Lying to family members, friends, or colleagues about how much time or money you spend on gaming.

Neglecting work, school, family responsibilities, or personal health because of time spent gaming.

Borrowing money, selling personal belongings, or taking out loans to fund your gaming activity.

Feeling that gaming is the only way to escape stress, loneliness, depression, or other emotional difficulties.

Quick Self-Check

Answer these questions honestly. If you answer "Yes" to three or more, we strongly encourage you to use a2jl's self-exclusion tool or reach out for support.

1 Have you ever gambled with money you couldn't afford to lose?

2 Do you find yourself thinking about gambling when you're doing other things?

3 Have you tried to cut back on gambling but found it difficult?

4 Have you ever lied to someone close to you about your gambling?

5 Has gambling caused problems in your relationships, work, or finances?

6 Do you gamble to escape problems or to relieve feelings of anxiety or depression?

7 After losing, do you feel a strong urge to return and win back your losses?
If you answered "Yes" to 3 or more questions, please consider activating self-exclusion from your a2jl account settings or contacting our support team at [email protected].

A Note on PAGCOR Licensing

a2jl operates within the Philippine regulatory framework. PAGCOR, as the national gaming regulator, sets the responsible gaming standards that all licensed platforms must follow. These include mandatory age verification, self-exclusion programs, player protection tools, and staff training on problem gambling identification. a2jl is committed to meeting and exceeding these standards to protect Filipino players across Manila, Cebu, Davao, Quezon City, Makati, and every other part of the country.
